| uploading pics issues
I've not been able to upload pics for several months now, when I upload the percentage goes to 100%, then the screen on the manage attachments window turns white and never refreshes or loads, thus the upload is incomplete and unsuccessful....

Not sure why that chart above is giving image values so large. The forums size limit for posting images is 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels tall Try resizing your images to 800x600 or less in your photo album on your PC, Laptop, Tablet or Phone before you attempt to upload here. |

I can't load pics to my for sale adds. Is my star not active? It says it at the bottom of the page when I'm starting the post. Thanks Billy G.

I'd like to join this discussion. I recently upgraded my phone and the pictures it takes are just too much for this site. I've tried lowering the picture quality on the camera; but the lowest setting is still much higher than the max listed on the Attachment Manager. My last post, I used picresize.com to re-size the pictures so they would upload. It worked, but the pictures are very blurry, and just kinda suck. I didn't think that shrinking would distort the photos vs. blowing them up, for example. I just don't know. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Not to complain, but it's also time consuming and just lame, I guess. I'd hate to think I have to post blurry build photos from now on.... |

I reccomend to use an APP for re-sizing images. Almost all of them are FREE, but I do believe there might be a couple really schmancy ones you can pay to get. I personally use a free one called "Crop-Size" It's free to download, and free to use unlimited. After getting it downloaded it's a simple 3 step process to resize an image The best part about Crop-Size is you simply enter the width value # and it automatically chooses the height # for you so the image doesn't distort or blur out because of forcing mismatched pixel values for the images original format. . |
