Unlimited Class section & still no Sportsman Class section? The sporty's have my interest as far as comp crawlers go and they are scattered everywhere due to the many axle/tranny combo's people put them in many different sections. I am all for sections that are utilized and keeping the quantity to a minimum but are Unlimited Class crawlers more deserving of their own section than the 2.2s or sporty or sportsman class? I feel a 2.2s (or sporty / sportsman/ etc.) section would be nice. |
Re: Unlimited Class section & still no Sportsman Class section? I fully agree!! When I posted a comment like this last year I got some fairly unfriendly responses. The ax-10 seems to be the most common area for shafty info. |

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/gener...y-section.html edit: I searched your whole history and deleted posts/threads... Above post was the only one from you about the subject with nothing deleted or edited. |
Re: Unlimited Class section & still no Sportsman Class section? Yeah, I see that, lol. I can't seem to find any of my posts from before August of last year,. Maybe it was an older post, or were some responses deleted? I went through a few different forums maybe it was on another one. I would certainly like to see a shafty section either way! Serious detective work, though, nice! |

Re: Unlimited Class section & still no Sportsman Class section? AR60's would put it in the AX10 2nd gen sub forum. |
Re: Unlimited Class section & still no Sportsman Class section? And yes, Unlimited is deserving of its own section. Just wish it had more action... |

I still wonder if the newer comp builders wouldn't benefit from the 2.2S having its own spot. 2.2S seems to me to be the entry level of competition crawling and showing some support for the class might help it grow. Thanks for the input. |

With 2 steering axles, it'd be a Class 3 I do agree with having a dedicated Sportsman section though, and not categorized on axle type. |
Re: Unlimited Class section & still no Sportsman Class section? So what should be done with the XR10, Berg and Bully sections? |
Re: Unlimited Class section & still no Sportsman Class section? Forum would probably die if you grouped them all by Class. People don't use the search enough now or look farther then one page back in the sections we have already. Doubt people will want to dig through 12 pages of stuff to find a reply to something they just posted a day prior. :ror: |
Re: Unlimited Class section & still no Sportsman Class section? What about keeping all of the existing sections and adding a "General shafty / sporty" section and maybe a "general MOA" section? |
Re: Unlimited Class section & still no Sportsman Class section? The problem I see with a dedicated 2.2s or Sporty section is what to do with all of the legacy information that's already here. Do we abandon both AX-10 sections? What about the Losi section? I know they aren't as popular anymore but what about the TLT and Creeper sections? And like I said before, what about the MOA sections? Combine them all into one Pro section? If RCC was just starting out today, I would agree that dedicated comp sections would be nice, but right now it seems it would just add to more confusion. |
Re: Unlimited Class section & still no Sportsman Class section? Right, exactly! Keep he existing sections, and add a general sporty section. Just like how there is an scx10, saw back, etc. section, and also a general 1.9 scaler section, or wraith, and 2.2 general scaler. There are enough other choices of axles now to merit a general 2.2 sporty / shafty section. |
