how to post pics

I know this is not the write spot for this but i could not find anything on the newbie section or on the search bar.

Is their a tutorial on how to post pictures? I know the roast is going to begin but if some one can help me out on how to post some pics i would really appreciate it i'm trying to post some pictures of my rig but i can't figure out how.

Buying a member star and loading them directly is always the easiest option

Thanks for the Info everyone. I do appreciate it. But im a little special and some times ride the short bus so can you please do like a screen shot and point out the sticky because i cant find it. also where exactly do you get a member star? In the rules section or somewhere else?

Never mind i found the link in the forum and answered my own question. I don't know how i missed it before but thanks again for the information!!! It really is appreciated.

Need help. I have a green star for a couple of years now and have uploaded pictures several times. Now for some reason I don't have that icon to upload. What am I doing wrong?

Are you uploading into your album?

I have no album. Just the pics in my PC file. I have done this before many times. I've never had to have an "album" before. I do have a green star, so this should not be an issue. Any help would be appreciated.

There is no "icon" so to speak for posting images.

I'll admit, I've had this complaint constantly and forever because of the way the forum is set up.... But in defense, most all forums are the same.
So easy to figure out if you do forums regularly, but confusing if you're brand new to forum usage.

Anyhow, the tendency for the tenderfoot is to click on all the cool little icons around the text box in attempts to post a picture

Nope

Down lower

Scroll down past the text box to the next section underneath that is titled
"Additional Options"

Your second info section in there that is titled
"Attach Files"
And then click on the icon bar that reads
"Manage Attachments"

That will open another window to choose/select from your photo album or files and then after you select what you want , you then click the
"Upload"
Icon and close that window and submit the original window and you should be all set!!

Don't feel bad, it's confusing for many

Below is an image of the screen
To the bottom left is where you'll find the
"Manage Attacthments"

Your second window that opens when you clicked the
"Manage Attachments"
Should look like this

Use the
"Choose
File/photo"
To the left first,
then click the
"Upload"
To the right after you've picked you image
Once upload is done, simply go to top right corner and click on
"Close This Window"
You will be back on the original thread/post where you still need to click
SUBMIT
