Suggestion for "for sale" section

I guess this would be for you Dave. I think you should add a sticky to the for sale sectioned titled "check the wanted section before you post" and then tell people that they should check the wanted section first before they list their parts for sale in hopes that they can have an instant sale and help out the people who really need that part. You know what I'm saying? I don't think most people who list their stuff for sale actually go into the wanted section before posting their stuff.

Good parts get scavenged pretty quickly by rccrawler.com vultures and I think the people who post want ads should get first dibs, not just some random vulture who doesn't really need it

Your asking other people to read the wanted section before they post there for sale thread? Most members don't even read the for sale rules before posting.

And I do not agree that people in the wanted section should get first dibs on for sale items. That would be impossible to enforce.

It makes sense to me, but I really don't think anyone is going to or wants to waste that much time looking through the want ads before posting. It is first come first serve. If someone was to do that, yes it might help them sell there stuff faster. But I don't think, as Badger said, it could be inforced.

I dont see anything but good from this. You look in the wanted section, see someone asking to buy exactly what you have. You already have a buyer before you even post have to post an add and wait for people to respond. Usually the people who post in the wanted section are more desperate to buy stuff so it makes it even easier.

That is why we made a wanted section, yes. Its up to people to use it or not. Would you like me to sticky something else that people can ignore
