Default For sale section question

Ok I understand there is a 14 day period in which we can not repost our adds etc or that we are not allowed to bump the add.

The question is, is there a way to set it up so that adds can be bumped after 14 days but not before?

It might remove some of the clutter in the FS section if we can just bump our adds after a waiting period (14 days).

I also noticed that some people repost their adds before the 14 day prune happens. Is this an acceptable practice or not?

I am just trying to stay within the rules etc posted in the above link.

I am not going to be a snitch but I have seen members get their adds reposted in as less then 8 days at times.

But thanks for the comeback badger. I just thought I would run it by you guys as I thought it might clear up some of the bandwidth due to extra posting in the classifieds section.

So you have seen it happen? Prove it

But we try to keep an eye on it. There are 5 mods that help keep the for sale section going. We get alot of traffic through there. So if Badger approves a post from you that I haven't seen and you post one up again a week later that fits all the rules, then it will be approved(unless caught). But if you want, I can go through and read the threads. Then before I approve it, I will search every thread just for you, so no one can slip through. Then when I start to get backed up with 1,000 posts and everyone wonders why I just said to hell with it and delete everyones threads, I will send them to you

LOL, You want me to do the work for you? Sorry but that job belongs to the admin and mods here not a general newb member such as myself.

Now ask me to do the work for you on the Atvnation and I would be obligated to do so.

I had a question and thought so I figured I would ask it.
