Can we PLEASE ban Photobucket?

... and it's really bringing the RCC website's usefulness value down.
Everybody says Photobucket sucks.

I could do a write-up in the n00b section on how to use the Imgur.com Android app if you like. If it's worth a sticky then maybe there could be an announcement that Photosuckit is no longer a viable option. Just a thought.

You're seeing old threads that used to have Photobucket pics linked to them...until PB changed their price from free or $30/Year to $300/year, and stopped hosting images unless you paid up.

I believe PB has been "banned" simply cause no one here is using them anymore. Unfortunately, going back and editing all those old threads though is quite a daunting challenge. Most peoples pics are flat gone.

This is great news for computer users browsing the forums. Unfortunately those of us who use Tapatalk or browsers on our mobiles can't make use of extensions/add-ons. :( Furthermore the instructions for n00bz on this site still tell peeps to use PhotoSuckit: How do I post pics? and although I have posted a request for its correction, I've gotten zero response from the administration. Should I also PM one of the moderators?

I've used PB for years, on many different forums for various things from motorcycles, to trucks, to RC. There are so many threads here, that have wonderful information that is ruined now due to no pictures. Photobucket really shot themselves in the foot.

I tried Photobucket and XXXXXXXX hated it and really didn't pay attention what was going on with it, Cause I keep most of all my pictures on a backup drive,

Then once everybody pictures disappeared overnight and heard they are charging for there bullshit service and it pissed people off

What really sucks, if you try and research builds and want to see pictures for ideas and look at different setups and what parts people are using

That's all XXXXXXX gone cause now there is no pictures for anything and it really makes researching XXXXXXXX up and not worth the effort

Cause there is not a lot to look at any more, just dead pictures every where and on every website

So I agree with banning those Bastards from the Internet for life, cause they XXXXXX up doing research and looking for ideas
