Redcat gen 8

Would it be possible to get a the gen8 its own section in the scale brand specific section? I think their will be more than enough traffic.

Should we have a separate section for each color body too?

Thank you for your input on this matter, we value your opinion greatly. This was a yes or no question so we will have to consider your response to mean yes. Thank you for your continued support.

For real though, it seems like everytime a new variation of anything resembling a crawler comes out (how did the Rock Rey get its own section?), people start demanding a new section be created. What's wrong with the existing Redcat section? Or, the 1.9" section? This forum does not move THAT fast for things to get buried. If it turns out to be the next big thing (and it won't, it's just not different enough) I could see that happening, but the posts and thread views would prove that, not just a few guys saying "Yeah!" "Me too!" Not a knock against Redcat, as I have/had several myself, (there's even a Gen8, Sumo, E10, and Gen7 in my garage now) just the reality of it.

Pull up a chair, grab your favorite beverage, and you can be through ALL of the Gen8 posts in a couple hours. That's coming from someone who has read EVERY post in EVERY thread in the Redcat section, as well as the entirety of several other sub-sections. Chances are, if you have a question, its been answered, and documented, as well as being searchable... that's the beauty of forums like this as compared to facespace.

You get it. I'd pair this place down to maybe 15 main forums so each main brand and genre are represented on the main page and the rest fall into sub forums.

i also agree on this respectfully, i have both gen7 and gen8 builds. i know that the "redcat" section has been unorganized since the first post in seems in comparison to the others. I would enjoy the section to be broken up into categories by rig like the others but at the same time, how would we keep the pre-exsisting good threads that are scattered throughout the rest?

I would support a GEN 8 specific section and the condensing of many of the older out of date sections.

The HPI Wheely King, Duratrax Cliff Climber, Venom Creeper, etc... have been long out of production and saw minimal interest and support when they where new.

Time to condense many of the Tamiya sections into a single section as well as condensing the lesser know and discontinued brands into a single section as well.

Agreed.

We don't need 1000 different brand specific sections but there are a few new trucks that probably deserve a section and about 10 current sections that could be removed/merged that no one would miss.

Don’t even think about touching the duratrax cliff climber section!

I like how the ssd trail king got a section immediately, even though theyve sold about 10 of them. You guys are a joke.

When you made the request we didn't have an active admin with the ability to do such things, now, we do and hes been on top of creating new sections for the new offerings almost immediately. How about you quit belly aching and crying and spend a little time being thankful we even have a forum to go to.
