Default My thread moved then Deleted, why?

I started a thread today , by the time I got home a few hours later I found it in general chit chat, and now it's gone

It was about rock rings for beadlocks and a new design I am going to build.

Why was it deleted ?

also , How do I keep my thread subsrciption so it's not auto "unsubscribed" ?

I did not see the thread so can't say for sure, but it sounds like it may have pulled if you were advertizing something of yours to sell in quantity. I am sure if you get your blue star for a vendor you will not have any problems posting things you are thinking or are going to sell.

Here is a link to the vendor info
http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/payments.php

I did my donation and it is well worth. I have sold alot of stuff and have made some really great customers

thanks
but I was not offering to sell anything, no parts listings, no prices. Simply asking somebody to build for me with my design.

On another forum ( Pirate4X4.com) I started a build for my Twin stick last year and the moderator contacted me telling me that he was going to have to move my thread or I would need to buy a Yellow star $100. since I would be selling them, which eventually I would , but with all the R&D and testing it's almost been a year and I still have not sold one !

Story is A Least they CONTACTED ME FIRST!!!!!!! Here on RC I PAID $20. for a green star and yet I cannot even reply in the FOR SALE section !! F-ing Sucks

Cannot even find a way to contact a moderator

go to your "User CP", then to "Edit Options" and look for "Default Thread Subscription Mode".

I was just frustrated :-( , can you relate..?

some of you are helpfull with giving me the info I need (thank you), but man some of you are touchy, damm, never had this problem on pirate ! and I have been on it for 5 +yrs.

Moderators: Sorry If I went to far, but I think it's proper to contact a paid member about a post if there is a problem.

Let's move on shall we

Thank you

You can adjust it to your time zone via the user CP. You need to set it to your time zone.

I've also been on Pirate for 5+ years and had threads deleted without any warning. Sometimes if mods are swamped they have no problem letting you know what you did wrong, other times they are simply too busy to have to email each person that they have to moderate. Heck I just delete 16 posts from this thread, I don't have time to email all of those people and let them know what is wrong, and chances are they already know.

Go here http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/profi...do=editoptions The box that says "default thread subscription mode" choose Instant email notification.

At the right of every forum are the names of the moderators of that section, click their name and you can choose to send them an email or pm. This is exactly how Pirate is setup.

If that don't work you can pm me, or email me at jason@rccrawler.com

Yes the site is based out of Colorado, so the clock is set to that. If you'd like to change the clock you can again access your user c/p and do so.

This same link http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/profi...do=editoptions and scroll a little farther down and you can select whatever timezone you'd like.

I hope I have been of some help to you.

Jason
