|  15 second rule?
Is there anyway to get rid of the 15 second rule for searching? Just wondering.. Kind of sucks when your in a hurry.. If not I keep living with it. Not that big of a Deal.

yeah, i gotta X2 on that. sometimes when your in a hurry searching and nothing comes up after a quick scan, having to wait 15 seconds becomes a.....a.....well, just 15 extra seconds you have to wait to find what your looking for!  |

Really sucks when your on a laptop with a touchpad that likes to double click. I agree it really slows me down. I'm star holder and I have wait like everyone else.  |

If anyone is like me I'll have 4 screens or more of just RCC to keep up with PM's, Emails and so on... Got to find something to do when your waiting....lol

run2jeepn, the reason for the wait is the mysql queries beat the crap out of a server. vbulletin is notorious for having slow queries, it is just the nature of forum software and how it can't easily index for queries. If it wasn't in place, I guarantee you I could shut down this site in a few mins with mysql queries.  |
