| Tips or suggestions for starting a club?
We are starting a VA club and I was wondering if there are any guidelines or tips, hints, or suggestions for setting/starting a club. It would be alot easier to get a sucessful club going with some idea of what all needs to be in place. Thanks guys! Here's our thread: Virginia RC Off Roaders - VARCOR |

decide if your club will follow USRCRCA rules, or your own club rules. other than that, just start having comps. no secret for success. it took years before more than 3 of us showed up for so-cal gatherings, now we are the biggest club in the nation. make sure that everyone has copies of the rules, and the judges are consistent.

Here is a thought. Check with the clubs near you and see if they would like to have another division. Makes a club larger and then you can have comps seperate, and then a big one at the end of the year. If they already have a forum and such than that is less you have to worry about.
