| How about a regional section
I'm sure that this has been brought up before. So I'm ready for the bashing to begin... But the Get Together section and even the competition section can get a little overwhelming, trying to find things that might interest you in your neck of the woods. If it was to be split up into Sub categories it might be easier for people to communicate in local areas. I'm sure that setting it up is a pain in the arse and I would have the foggiest idea how to do it. But it can be done. Any thoughts on if this is a good or bad idea? Something like: West- Rockies- Mid west- South- North- East- Canada- Europe- Other areas- etc. |

Go to the competition or get together section, top right click search this section, then type the name of the state you want to see.

There is no need for regional or international GTG forums when there RC Crawling websites for states like SoCalRC,TXRCA etc and international crawling sites for Mexico, UK, Australia etc. If you want a GTG either search the forum like Jason mentioned or join a regional forum to see if there is interest in your area. | |

Actually great idea. First it keeps your members on your website which in turn brings traffic. It keeps a central location to talk about it and not having to jump from forum to forum. But hell what do I know. I only run/own the largest Sportbike website on the net right now. When you go state specific that can be too far into it. But those are for groups that are big enough and active enough on the website. I am just talking about traffic and ad revenue. Course right now the server bills might not be as high as mine are. But in time since the Crawling community is growing you will need the traffic to produce the ad revenue to pay for the server bills. But only reason why I even posted in here was to backup the OP since I was going to ask the same thing Ohh and to backup my claims. my website is http://www.sportbikes.net been running it since 1997 and have over 80,000 members now |

sure anyone can use the search however if someone does not put the state in the topic or the subject and just says a town.. it can be missed. hey its just a comments section.. just making comments.. thats all no need to argue
