Sam, thanks for ruining my day. I was really looking forward to having a nice quiet day competing without you for once. :-(

I will try to print out the running order Saturday early morning, so the cutoff date will be Friday night for signups at say, 6PM. I have to show my house to potential renters on Saturday along with some other stuff, so I won't be able to extend it beyond Friday night. Sound good? Thanks guys for volunteering to judge. Badger will be cooking the judges a heart attack with cheese burger for lunch and give hand jobs to those that want them. Right now we have: Bcrofts Drumbeater Ruck"n"roll RckJeep We will need to confirm 2 more. Also, please note everyone that the rules have changed. We will be running the 2008 competition rules. The biggest change is any touch of the vehicle is a reposition back to the previous set of gates and 10 points. For the rock race, there are no current rules solidly set. They are still in pencil format. I believe the largest tire size will be 4.25" which is the height of the newest RC4wd tire and a 1.9" rim max. Wheelbase I believe is going to be shorter than the 2.2 class at maybe 12", but I that was something I recall hearing. Don't quote me. I think the only other for sure rule is that Badger must win. No matter what happens, he said he must win the race or he will cry and throw your rig into the ocean. -Sam |

You know, even though being part of the rules committee, I too need to review them. There's a lot of info there. Homework, aack. I thought I gave up doing homework when I was in Highschool. I can't believe I am volunteering to do some just to play with toys. -Sam

Count me in as a judge as usual or camera man or just let me mooch a burger from the grill for doing nothing. |

I can judge if needed, especially if I get a badger-burger for motivation. Seriously though I can definetly run the timer and call fouls (writing the point scores makes me nervous). |

| Try and find a area where you live to hold a comp, then post pictures and location so we can check it out. Pacific Grove is in the southern part of Nor-Cal. It's almost a 3 hour drive for me but you got to go where the comps are if you want to crawl with best in Califorina .

| Post up pics of some comp worthy spots near you and maybe host an event up there instead of just bitching about it.
