NOTE: We will be using the newly released 2008 USRCCA rules for this event. They are located in the main directory of the Competitions forum.


Event #4 was a wet one with the day being a mix of cold, wet, and nearly being flooded out due to high tide. We will be taking our chances again with the ocean, but this time at beautiful Pacific Grove. Something that rivals the Bean and has TONS of traction. Break out those plastic like tires, because you might be able to use them.

HUGE thanks go out to Montereycrawler for finding this spot. He worked with authorities to secure confidence in that we won't get kicked out. As usual though, we expect everyone to do their part by cleaning up the area and not creating problems. We want a fun event and a location that we can return to in the future.

We will be running 2.2s as usual, but will run other rigs as time permits.

If you are interested in judging at this event and know the rules really well please let me know. We are always looking for a few good judges to help make the events run smooth.

Please sign up here as usual before the cutoff date (14 Feb 08). This helps us prepare the score sheets before the event and helps keep the event more organized. If people you know don't have access to the webt to sign up, please find out if they are going and sign up for them. People signing up at the event get an automatic point penalty.

To sign up, just copy the name list from the previous person posting and add your name to the list. If you are unsure, just see how everyone else does it and copy it. Simple "thumbsup"

I think we should also have a rock racing course like we did at the Bean that one time, but this time not near water :lol:. I think we destroyed 5 out of 6 rigs that day.
