If a competitor misses one event, that will be used as the worst score to drop.
If a competitor is unable to attend an event, a DNS (50 pts) will be scored for each course.
At the end of the series, scores from each competitors top six events will be totaled to determine the series winners.

Make sure you bring out the 1.9's and anything else you got if you have them. We will try to fit in some course runs and trail rides at each event afterwards, time permitting.

If there are any questions or concerns, please contact '04 Rubicon, Scooteracing, Swell Searcher, or Thorsteenster and we will be happy to assist.

At the last Comp, I think Ponies Pasture was discussed as the next Richmond location.

I thought we were going to have eight events originally, with the six best scores counting towards series total?

Yeah mark will be posting the registration for Comp #4 either Monday or Tuesday. And yes, it's Pony Pasture.

Robb, we could only fit seven comps in before the cut off for nationals. With Memorial Day and 4th July weekends, we couldn't get a total of 8 in. Even if we did 8 comps, only 1 would drop.

Only one more event for the VARCOR 2008 Series. I'd say the season has gone quite well so far. It has been great meeting so many new people and watching our hobby grow. Looking forward to the final event on July 19th at Pony Pasture.

After the series we are going to re-evaluate a few things such as series schedule(s), points process, memberships, fees, prizes, etc. I think as a club we have learned a ton, and we keep learning how to do things better/faster/more efficient. Ideally we would have a GTG sometime in August to discuss these things as a club, we'll see.

Keep an eye out, there will be more to come. Thanks to everyone for their participation and support of VARCOR.
