| P.A.R.C. 2008 Point Series Comp #3 at the Old Papago 3/30/08
P.A.R.C. 2008 Comp #3 is March 30th at the Old Papago Park at the Hole in the Rock. Start time will be 9:00 am. Setup around 8:15 am I feel this is our 2nd best SPOT to have a Comp. We had a great turnout at our last Comp. I hope the turnout is even better for this Comp. We talked about running 2 stages at a time for the 2.2 class so we can finish sooner. So we will need twice the help judging and timing the courses. Do we have enough clipboards and stop watches? Also a note about the May 4th Comp at 24th St. The last time we were there it sounds like we are not going to be allowed to use this spot any longer. Where should we have our May 4th Comp? ROLE CALL- Who will be at the Old Papago 3/30, and what class 2.2 or Super or both will you be running? I'm running Both. Lets make this a BIG ONE! You know it will be a Fun One. Rick- |

I will probably be there running 2.2. We should keep the 24st comp the way it is. I live 3 minutes from there and go up there all the time to run my truck. The last time I was up there, there were three park rangers watching me run my rig and thought it was very cool. They just want up to keep off of the areas that have signs. I say keep the comps that way they are.

We were told we couldn't run where we always have had our comps. There is no signs on the side we were on. The ranger told us we could not leave the park path. He did let us finish our last course. It will be very hard to hold a comp at that location based on what happened at the last comp we had there. That is the second time I know of that a Ranger told us we could not run at that spot. I'm sure the 30 plus people made the difference about running there. Rick- | |

I should be able to make it. Got some new links/rod ends. Lets see if I can break another. As for the 24th St. location, I would say that if we get caught by the same Ranger, I bet he starts handing out fines! I think we should find another location or run at the New Papago in its place. |

| March 30 comp
I'll be there with my 2.2 and possibly a super if I get it finished in time. As far as the 24th street site goes; I'm not in favor unless we specifically get permission from the park rangers. I'm sure a couple of people won't get any attention but a whole gaggle sure will! Has anyone tried to contact the park? Even if we don't get permission in time for the 24 street meet we might get something worked out for latter.

| Parc In Rc World !!!! Hi all, We have some RC WORLD magazines available from when Yusuke came and took pics of the PARC members' trucks. There are tons of pictures that yo can preview here. If anyone is interested, each magazine cost $10 and AZVADER will bring them to the next comp. Last edited by CristinaG; 03-27-2008 at 08:43 PM. |
