Way to stifle innovation and creativity. How about a "no modified bodies" rule next?

X2^^^^^^^^^^I have 8 1.9mashers. Im gonna runem

I think as long as the carcass it self isn't cut I think it really shouldn't matter. But thats just me. I don't know the rule is on that.

As someone who currently drives the RC4WD Crushers and has the same love/hate relationship most of us do with them, stifling peoples ability to be creative is not in the spirit of the event or the rules in my opinion.

It seems a bit of a paradox that we give bonus points to people for everything they can do custom/special/unique/scale on their trucks but then lose points for doing something special/unique/custom with their tire options.

and looking at the pics Rbgerrish posted those sure do look like 1:1 versions of mashers.

Already I think the rules as they are now are going to have far more people participating in the "free" days than competition, simply because they have rigs they like and want to drive that maybe are not going to be allowable.

We certainly don't want what is to be a massive event to promote our hobby and celebrate this awesome aspect of it to turn into something that stifles the creativity that its all about. Are we going to start limiting ride height and flex? Banning Portal axles because they give an unfair advantage in axle clearance etc?

Hehehe. Its great to see people really get worked up about this like I thought they would. In the end, run what you like but I really think you should try to make it look scale.
