Default ALRC Comp #1 Sunday, March 9th

Well guys, were were going to get it setup so that we could have our first comp the weekend after the TN comp. But we just found out that weekend is Easter Sunday. So, if we can get enough people, we are going to try to have it next weekend at Joey's house(Floyd Farm).

Where: Floyd Farm
When: Sunday, March 9th
Time: Course building starts at 9, Comp will start at 10.

Contact:
Jeff Gill
205-936-1727

Floyd Farm
254 Lyn-Gail Trail
Brierfield, AL 35035

Directions
From I-65 South take exit 238 (Alabaster exit). Turn right onto Hwy 31 go about 1 mile and turn left at the first set of redlights onto Hwy 119. You'll stay on 119 for 11.5 miles until it dead ends in Montevallo. Turn right onto Hwy 25 go almost 3 miles and turn left onto Hwy 139. Go almost 1.5 miles and turn left into Brierfield Estates right after you cross a bridge (there is a sign too). Go ½ mile and take you first left, after about 200 yards the road goes straight or turns sharp to the right. TAKE THE SHARP RIGHT then my house is the 3rd house on the right.

And I do apologize for the late notice. :-( We were trying to get it planned for next month, then we realized that there were too many other comps going on. We are trying to not interfere with TN, and ATL.

I don't think I've ever ran a 2.2" at Floyd Farm.

Joey, think Alisha's Mercedes could make it back up the hill from the creek? It's all-wheel drive.

If the VW van could do it, I don't see why not.

Haha! I had forgotten about that! Andy is a wild man behind the wheel of the Vanagon!

I was just wondering if the trail down to the creek was in the same shape as it was back then, or if Joey had made it more "rockcrawler friendly".

Are you coming, Steven?

I've tried to keep it smooth but between errosion and people driving 2wd truck up it it is getting alittle rougher at the bottom. The AWD Benz should be fine.
