Seems that way. We won't know what to do when we get to compete on dry rocks. It looks like maybe a late start today.

great day guys! little wett though, im still thawing out! i shoulda wore some of my duck hunting gear, that would have been perfect for today, well i guess the wet rock was definitly an added difficulty that put all the rigs to the test! setup and tire/foam selection was a key element for all the rigs out there.

As competitions goes for VARCOR, this was another typical day for us. Rain, rain, rain. Mark and I ran a different format this time, we broke into 2 groups and started on different courses. The 2.2 comp went first, followed by the supers and scales. And the only thing I can say, gates 2 & 3 on course on course 1 sucked. By the way, did anyone make it up gate 3 cleanly? Overall, all 3 courses was fun. The added rained made choosing your lines important and having the right tire and wheel spin a huge factor.

The Super class had a good time even though we only ran course 1 & 2 due to the weather condition. It was definitely an eye opener for the Super rookies, between pre-start breakage, electronic issues, and lack of wheel speed, and I can see them coming back in full force at our next comp.

Now on to the results.

Overall - where do you stand? - the 2.2 scale scores have been added

There was alot of movements in the middle of the field. 3 of the 5 top five people changed. And remember, there's still 4 more events and the best 6 count. Keep up the good work...

Thumbs up

I had a great time yesterday, even with the wet rain most of the day. What will we do if we ever get to compete on dry rocks. I was glad to see so many new people coming out, with some nice trucks might I add. Each event seems to get bigger and that is what VARCOR wants, to grow.

So who has pics? I never even took my camera out cuz of the rain, but I know some of you guys did. I need a new background and a pic for my build thread, did anyone get any pics of Colossus?

I had a geat time until stage 3 when the steering went out on the axial, but I tried hard on scale with that old Bruiser not a whole lot of torque in 4 low. May need to get a gear reduction unit or switch to a axial trans.:-P
