I've gotten a couple of questions e-mailed in ....

We will not be doing an on-line pre-sign up. You can e-mail me to let me know you'll be attending, or post up on a thread (SC Crawlers or here), just so I have a rough idea on how many will be there.

Click here for a direct link to the info on the JPH site. It will give a run down on what to expect .... Most of you who have been to a comp know this stuff, but we're planning on seeing a lot of first timers at the event and want them to feel welcome.

The courses will be set up more on the easy side for our first comp, but the courses will be challenging. We will do three courses and if time allows some play time afterwards. The event will happen rain or shine ....

Hope to see you there!
Jake

Thanks Jake for posting that info up.

I know I'm looking forward to this, and hope to see a good turn-out.

The weather reports are looking good for this weekend!

There's been a lot of interest at the shop, so we're expecting a good turnout for the comp.

Cool, I made the top 10!!!

Super fun day. Thanks to everyone who showed up and helped make it a killer first comp. Huge thanks to Jake for getting this all put together, and the JPH staff for helping out with parts for repairs.

A definite day of first for me. First time judging a comp and the first time attending a comp. I had a great day and thought all the courses were challenging and more difficult that they looked, especially course 2. That drop off to the swinging bridge and the climb up to the last gate were super challenging.

I was pleasantly surprised to see which rigs were doing well on some of the tougher sections. And the rigs with dig sure did seem to have an advantage on some of the trickier, or more technical courses, like those on courses two and three.
