| ORCRC Competition...June 19th @ High Rocks!! What: ORCRC Crawling Competition Where: High Rocks Park in Gladstone, OR When: Sunday June 19th Time(s): Sign up time... 8:30-9:20am Crawling starts promptly@ 9:30am Classes: 2.2 Unlimited & Unlimited Big Trucks Warnings: Water Hazards will be present. We will try to keep the water hazards to a depth of less than 3", but no guarentees We will try to have bypasses for water hazards that are deeper than 3". Run down.... Sign-ups will be happening between 8:30am and go to about 9:20. We will promptly begin running the Unlimited Big Trucks first @ 9:30am on course #1. Once all the Unlimited Big Trucks have been ran we will run the 2.2 Unlimited class over course #1. Once all the 2.2 rigs have ran through course #1 we will take a short break, about 15-20 minutes. This will give people enough time to rest, drink and prep for the next course. Once the short break is over we will run course #2 with Big Trucks first, then 2.2 class. For those who want to be part of course layout, please be at High Rocks by/before 8:30am. I will be bringing the tent/canopy/shade again in case it's sunny. For directions to High Rocks Park... type this address into your favorite mapping tool.... 10 82nd Drive Gladstone, OR 97027 That's the addy for the DMV which is about 1 block south of the park entrance. There is a tire store(Superior Tire Service, I think) right across from the park entrance pathway. Most parking will need to be done on the street. There is a fairly steep pathway(paved) down to the rocks. Be ready for the big rock Last edited by toyofast; 05-17-2005 at 10:15 PM. |

I really can't drive... it's about luck How much money to complete a TLT?... It's not the amount of money spent, it's the amount of time spent to get it from stock to where it's at. If you search around, you will find a ton of pictures of my truck, from last year up until now. Just learn to use the search feature and you will find what you seek. | |

Yep, I'm Toyofast...er, Brett Let's just say I rebuilt the truck two days prior(Everything changed except the body, chassis and tranny), had some electrical gremlins the night before and had to swap all radio gear out from my Maxx truck to get the TLT running. I sucked arse at the comp... Not my normal mid-top finishes. I need to get my Juggy back so I can stay on top of the competition again like the prior years events I didn't snap any pictures at the event either.... after I got off the exit of the freeway to the park, I remembered that I left the camera sitting on the counter I did come in 2nd in the newest ORCRC event though.... The ORCRC Rock Race! It's the harshest event we've ever had. I think it was a $300-400 dollar race for some Their poor wallets have to be hurting today One word to explaine the event... WATERPROOF. Our trucks got beat on hard for this 60 second race. |
