ORCRC Crawling Competition, August 8th... !!!!!!

Here's the run down.....


Date: Sunday August 8th
Location: Salem, Wallace Marine Park (Link takes you to a map)
Time: Crawling starts at 9:00AM, setup is around 8:30AM
What to look for: ORCRC signs posted on cars/trucks, real cars/trucks that is... and the RC's

Additional location info:
Finding Wallace Marine Park is quite easy once you cross over the bridge(going over the Willamette River)... there are small signs pointing you to the spot. We will be located at the boat launch area. When pulling into the park keep RIGHT and you'll travel under a train tressel(sp?), then on your left you'll see a parking lot with us parked in there

There are bathrooms onsite, I've personaly never used them but I guess they are fine :?

Also there has been some talk about RCCA and Xtreme Off-Road Magazine showing up to get some action shots...... more people the better!!!

Juggy has been gone for some time now. Sold off chassis, axles, shocks, etc.

Kept body, tranny, tires/wheels and other bits

We've been talking about having at least two seperate classes:
1- 2.2 size
2- Maxx/Clod/Kong size

There are a few TLT/2.2 based crawlers so who knows what will happen. Sometimes the 2.2 sized rigs spank the larger rigs & other times the 2.2 sized rigs can't keep up. Most the time it's a good battle between the two sizes though.

The more the merrier. Yes there will be a 1/10 scale class roughly based on the 2.2 inch tires. Hope al you crawlers in the northwest are planning on being there.

I am glad to here the ex will be there chuck cant wait to see it.

Ill be there very early to meet with ryan dan and brett to get the course set up. If anyone has a clip board or a stopwatch that we can use for the day, bring it along as we are going to have two courses running at the same time to help speed things up a bit from the last time we ran.

See you all there in the morning. Remember crawling starts at 9 am so try to be there before 8:45 to get registered and pick up your number.

Sorry I didn't make it out on Sunday... I spent the weekend in the hospital... :( Had some probs with the ticker again.. I heard it was a fun day tho.. Sorry I missed it.. Maybe next time...
