NO it is Not.
The Summit: Take Central Avenue south into South Mountain. The road will veer right (West). Follow the road to the gate house. Continue straight, you will pass another gate house, continue straight and follow the signs for the summit. You will continue on level roads for a couple miles until you turn to head up to the summit. Continue up the side of the mountain. As you get to the top of the mountain, look for a sign at a fork in the road. You will follow the arrow to "Dobbins Lookout", which is a left at the fork. Follow this road to the end. The competition will take place around the old lookout structure. It takes approximately 15 minutes to get to the top once you have entered the park at the Central Avenue entrance.

Sounds good... I'll be there..

This will be my first outing at the Summit, don't know what to expect but I'm sure it will be as challenging as the rest.

Before Jim found the New Papago (The SPOT) the Summit was the spot.

Default Pencil me in

I just received my new Axial RTR - Rock racer / crawler. I might bring it bone stock and give it a run. No time to make mods to it. If not, the WK will return for its last run.

As always, I can score or time.

Default Great comp

It was a great comp today. The 2.2 courses were tough but fun except gate 2 which was evil. And believe it or not I finally finished a super course!!! It only took me 6 courses to finish one but what the hell I finally made it. I just hope it doesn't take 6 more to finish the next one.

Default Scores

It was another wild one at the Summit !!! What looked possible was impossible, a couple of 2 gates, and what used to be tough seemed easy, 2.2 course 1. James D had it when he said " New Papago has spoiled us ". I forgot how slick the rocks are up there. Not to mention the 24th Street-ish wheel sucking holes and under cuts !! All and all another top notch comp !!!

Another strong turnout !!!

Here's they are, many gates were sacrificed to the Summit to bring you these scores. *=stage winner
