Default Final CO winter series comp dates?

Just found the "Colorado Winter series info thread":

Event #6
May 24-25
Buffalo Creek
2.2 class will run Saturday
Super class will run Sunday

Is this correct?

I hope so because I am working the next weekend.

Thanks for any info.

Gary

It actually got bumped to the weekend after. It's updated on the calendar.

We are doing a comp on Saturady for both classes and a comp on Sunday for both classes. So, it's going to be a 2 for 1 weekend.

May be a dumb question, but gotta ask.....

Is this one a bad time for a couple of "newbies to comps" to show up?

I usually can't make Sundays, but sense it will be run on a Sat as well I can actually come and would like to bring my 11yr old nephew. I pretty sure I'll actually be in town and not out working in the boonies....

Come on out. The more the merrier, and you'll probably place better than me. I'll race you for second to last.

how far away is buffalo creek from the springs. I was going to wait till one came to palmer park to run my first comp but I am too antsy. I was reading the rules and it said that you have to pay $20 for the series and then $5 for each class. Do you have to pay the $20 only if you want to be eligable for the series prizes.

If it's going to be on a Sat, I'll be there.
I'll take a "finished the comp" last or funniest driving bastage out there slap on the back...

If you go it will cost you $5 per class. (2.2 or super) The $20 was for Jason to keep track of scores for the series and supply trophies to the top three in each class. That needed to be paid by the second event we had back in January. So your not eligable for the series but you still can compete.

Here's a map to Buffalo Creek.
