I'm down for the first half of October.

Driver's meeting would be cool.

As for the course. I'm up for anything. We'll all have to traverse the same obstacles.

Now we're getting a little close to November and weather is gonna be more of a factor.

Instead of pushing it out further why don't we try going back to the October 1st suggestion by Twisted and see about pulling it in just a hair..

How 'bout sometime in the latter half of September? Still should give everyone plenty of lead time.

everyone cool with the 22nd or the 8th? that gives 3 months for people to get their rigs ready and enough time to put in for vaca days or just call off work

Drivers meeting at 11am

11:30 or so, kick off the comp.

run at least 2, possibly 3 courses.

so now that the date is basically set.... nother question/idea

sitting there waiting for 15-25 people to go through 1 course takes a long time. with the way GR is laid out, we can't have time limits due to safety issues. soooo any ideas about having 2-3 judges, and once you finish just go to the next course and start running it( since we will have a judge over there also?)??? just an idea on how to go through quicker. or since its on a saturday, no big deal?

I know people like to at least run 2- 3 courses and 2 courses last time ran us until later that night. and by the time the 10 person came up, noone was watching them. so why not go ahead and start bumping people to the next course and keep it rolling? i understand it goes from picks to stat, then first in points goes next... just ideas to help run quicker

1 more thing..the TLT's have gotten really big..i know i will be bringing one( well my son will) and a few others also and with people wanting to run a seperate TLT comp, that adds into the time... so just things to consider

8th works for me!

Start time may have to be deterimined by the # of drivers!

2 course at the same time is a good idea! Just have to watch radio channels.

Also may want to have only Top 10 Drivers drive the last course!

Don't think were ready to run TLTs as a separate class yet!

Lets get through a large comp with no issues before we start expanding.

For guys that have only a 2.2 they can run the same course, but be recognized seperately as the 2.2 winner.

I thought everyone said the 15th was good... Fish and I are going to Vegas
in Sept if the comp is Oct 8th that only gives me three weeks till GR.

well that's what i meant... run the same course, but they will just be in their own class and then just add those up as we go( just like anyone else) but they will be seperate scores at the end. or possibly run a 2.2 class sunday morning as the TSRCRC guys whip up on fish boys butt

well from what i seen at UROC, your truck is ready to rock and roll

just trying to find a date that doesn't interfere with people and yet not be so late in the year that we have crap weather and are able to enjoy what GR has to offer
