| Colorado winter series finals: Pics on page 9
OK long at last we have pieced the details of the comp together. Sorry for the shorter than usual notice, but in looking at the calender these dates are the only days that will work in order to finish our series before nominations have to go in for nationals invites. Since we skipped 2 events this winter due to snow we are going to make one of the events up, the other will be dropped from the schedule. All competitors running in the series will still get to drop off their lowest series score in 2.2, super, and overall. To make up the event we will be running 2 comps back to back. One comp will be saturday June 21st, one comp will be running sunday June 22nd. We will be competing at the Buffalo Springs comp site <-click for directions. To give people time to drive there we'll start the saturday comp at 10am, to get people home at a decent hour on sunday we'll start the sunday comp at 8am. This is a great spot to camp out at, make sure to bring your scalers for the night runs. Just like we have done all series each class will be $5.00 to enter with 100% of that going back to the top 3 drivers. So if you plan on running both classes in both days your gonna need $20.00. After buying the series trophies there is some money left over, I figured instead of letting the guys who win have more of our money we could use that and have a big feast on saturday night, the series money will cover it all, how do you all feel about that? I can bring my big grill and if some people don't mind helping I'll do the cooking. Just so you all know where you stand here are the current series scores going into the last 2 events. Question? Can a rookie like myself attend and compete even though I missed all the other comps? I just moved to Westminster from S. Fl. but would like to attend for the fun.

Well that sucks. 1 week is not enough time to do everything I need to and fix my rigs from Montana so it looks like I'm out:-( Good luck and toss a beer in the fire for me.

| Yup. Anyone is welcome to attend/compete, just sign up during registration and pay the $5 entry fee for whatever classes you want to run. |

Come hell or high water I will be there. I have missed all the others this season because of weather and the wife. I will be there this time! I still need a radio, charger and batteries, but I think I can make it work. Looks like I need to charge some stuff. This one cannot be missed and I will be sure to bring camping stuff. Damn this is going to be fun!!! Since I still am a noob is there anything I can contribute? Is there anything I know I will forget that I shouldn't? Any of you seasoned guys have first comp run hints? Damn this will rock!!!! |

Too short of notice here, when we talked about it before I thought you said middle of June so we (my family) made plans around that.

June 7th and 8th is open even though I have to do some crazy stuff because my daughters birthday is on the 8th. June 14th and 15th is the XRRA rock race in Colorado Springs I personally have to be there, and I know a lot of you were planning on it. June 21st and 22nd is fathersday, the day I thought people would be doing things with their families. June 28th and 29th I have to work. It sucks with everyone having such busy schedules. Just so you all know this will be the last series I am going to run. I understand my schedule is crazy and I feel bad having to make you guys work around it. Hopefully whoever steps up and runs the Colorado series from here on out has their shit together better than myself. Nationals info is due in on July 1st and you have to have at least 4 events done by that date or your club gets no invite. |

I can probably get up there early Fri to reserve. The cookout with thee extra $ sounds way cool. I hope the top guys can make it to compete, just wouldn't be right without them. This should be a killer fun time had by all! |
