ORCRC Aug 8th Comp RESULTS......

Okay.. Still waiting on the rest of the final results...I only took a handfull of pictures and it was quite a mess of a day really.

We had two courses like normal but this time ran 'em at the same time by splitting up into two different groups. Bad idea. Lots of trucks broke and very few people got to see the action going on, plus the magazine coverage was less since there were two groups running at the same time Live and learn I guess.....

All in all, it was another fun day but not as much fan as the past events. Just missed seeing everyone running.

The 'Tot was booty-fabbed up early in the morning to have front steering, then about 3 gates into the first course it blew/busted both driveshafts at the same time...that ended my day as I came with none, zero, zip spare parts.



Oh.... what's this? A TXT running the Rockraider chassis but anodized a pretty color Very very nice TXT/Maxx hybrid. Now it's just time to figure out if RCRockGear.com should offer custom anodizing for the Rockraider chassis.....?

Looks like everyone had a good day of crawling the 8th. And Toyo, I feel your pain, Kongs are rough on drive shafts. Caused me a DNF on two of the three courses in KY Sun.
