|  VARCOR 2009 Point Series - Event #1
Get your rigs ready. It's time to kick off the VARCOR 2009 Points Series. This is going to be an exciting season as we have had many improved drivers from last year, quite a few new competitors, and the points system is going to make things much closer. The first VARCOR event of the 2009 Point Series will be Saturday, November 8th, 2008 in Richmond, VA at Belle Isle. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en...,0.006373&z=17. You can map out directions from that link. Just enter your starting address in the 'From' field and map it out. Registration and Tech will start at 9:00 am Drivers Meeting / Course Review at 9:45 am Start Competition at 10:00 am Please post here if you plan to attend and if you will have a 2.2 comp or a scale rig. It looks like we will probably end up running 2.2 scale rigs as that is what is winning in the poll on VARCOR. However, I will leave the poll up for another week before making the final call. The 2.2 list is up so post up if you want to bring your 2.2 scale and compete. Need to figure out what kind of event to hold too.

2 1/2 weeks til the opening event! Gonna be a lot of new and improved rigs. I can't wait. I know we have some more guys out there that haven't signed up yet. Make sure you are telling your friends about it.  |

Less than a week now. Make sure you post up if you plan on making it out or else you'll be first in line on Saturday. So who else has waited til this week to work on their rig? I've not touched mine in about a month, and it looks like I'll be running the exact truck I took to Nationals, with the addition of two Holmes Hobbies Handwound 45T's. Not much else I can do to it since I won't have any time this week to work on it. Something tells me with all you guys with your nice new fancy rigs, I'm gonna end up getting smoked this weekend. Oh well, I still can't wait to get out there, looking forward to seeing everyones trucks. |
