| ORCRC 8.14.05 Comp RESULTS & Picture Thread...
Well, I don't have any results to post as I was only there for a couple hours. All I can say is that Kevin(TheCrawlerStore) is going to get a *** kicking...because of his "Stick" chassis. Those things work, really work. Has to be the BEST Clod based chassis....no, wait.. it is. Damn you Kevin Here are my pictures that I took, yes..only 3. Unlimited Full-Size rigs 2.2 Unlimited rigs 1/18 Nylint Spec rigs |

There will be more of them at the next comp too It was the fastest event that we ran. All 8 people that drove(one was shared) got it done in about 10 minutes. All about speed. Fastest time wins, as long as you don't get any penelty points. I think Ryan(rbgerrish) won the Nylint Spec class with a fast run and no penelty points. My Nylint rig made the most sounds as it would grind and moan each time I turned the wheel Gears in the front reduction unit are missing a few teeth now Since I had to leave before even the first course was finished, I did run in the Nylint class as it was first... On my way out of the park I had to see the Nylint in a bit of goo...... Last edited by toyofast; 08-14-2005 at 07:50 PM.

How much carnage in the Nylint class? I sat down a few minutes ago and made some corner panels for the rear of my Jeep...diamond plate, of course. |

None. Besides my front end grinding, all the other rigs came through without harm...well, a few scratches but that's it. The course layout for the Nylints was short and sweet as this was our first time with them. Things seemed to go really well though. These rigs will be around for at least a little longer in the ORCRC group

Toyofast, one of the rigs later lost its steering. (scorpion, the one with lights) I ended up going over by the waterfall, That is where you need to run the next course for them. Amazing traction! |

I was a nylint only contestant, can't wait to be back! And those pics don't do this course justice. Man that was steep! Glad I didn't have to run it! Last edited by snakeman; 08-14-2005 at 11:14 PM. |

| Great pics! Reminds me of the Green River KY crawling spot.... flipping over could get your rig Very wet! Anybody have specs on this rig? A 4WD 'Pede stick? I'm also curious as to how well the Ofna 'baby Giant Tracs' work. |

Its called "The Twig" (because its smaller than a STICK) and is the creation of 'I B Racin'. Yes, its s 4wd pede, pede rear suspension, losi front suspension, a stick inspired chassis and OFNA mini tracs for the ORCRC 2.2 unlimited class. To me it looked too wide and there was quite a bit of axle stall. More than a Clod. I'm sure 'I B Racin' will chime in and give his thoughts. I know that he finished it the day before the comp so there really wasn't any testing done prior to the comp. Its a really cool design!!!! and I'm sure with some tweaking with the gears he should be able to limit the 'clod' stall.

Rick, Thanks for posting pics, I have a bunch but I don't know how to post them. CSR, Rick gave a good description of what it is, what more would you like to know? The mini tracs work really good I think, but like Rick said it has a lot of axle stall, a lot more than a clod. It's a problem that I need to work out, I did all the same things that I do to my clod but the problem is still there. I B.. |

(470)..Masher 40's........ Stick 2nd ) Torry's.. (430)..Gaint Tracs ....... 4 link 3rd ) Rick's... (320)..Cut LST's & BFT's.. 4 link 4th ) Doug's... (280)..Gaint Tracs........ Stick 5th ) Dave's... (200)..Moabs 40's......... 4 link Final Unlimited 2.2: (Out of 550) Place.Driver....Points..Tire..Chassis 1st ) Vinny's ...(510) - M2K - Bulu 2nd ) Dave L's...(430) - M2K - Bulu 3rd ) Rick's.....(370) - Moab- Custom - Layed down Pede tranny 4th ) Jon's......(370) - Moab- Custom - Layed down Pede tranny 5th ) Joe's......(350) - M2K - Bulu 6th ) James's....(320) - M2K - Bulu 7th ) Bob's......(320) - M2K - Bulu 8th ) Keith's....(240) - OFNA- Custom - 4wd Pede/Losi mini stick 9th ) Ryan's.....(130) - M2K - Bulu 10th) Don's......
