Does anyone bring their kids to these events? I'd really like to make it to this one, but I have a 6 and an 11 year old and they'll be tagging along if I come. Just wondering if the atmosphere is kid friendly and if any other kids are going to be there.

Thanks.

A few of us have potty mouths especially that Duffy guy . It's really family friendly at our comps and kids are encourage to tag along. Even a few wives and girlfriends attend with confidence in our playful banter.

Show up either day, all three classes will be run both days. It's no problem if you have missed any other comps, come on out.

I had a silly idea, since it is getting dark at 5:30ish-lights on the comp rigs for some night comp action?

Seems reasonable to me to be prepared for finishing up in the dark.

Cool making sure its rules legal

i have a customized wheelie king and i havent got a good servo but i have two stander ones and i was wondering if it would pass the rules to have two servos for my front stering.

Im going to the comp. by pine because i live in pine so il be going for sure. Their are some sick rocks around here and me and rcracer11 were thinking of telling an offical about a idea of teams and like we had to do a corse in a sertin amount of time.

Yes, method of steering is not limited so long as it is just one axle

That is something more in lines of what we do with scalers. We are having are first comp here before too long, (check the Colorado thread) come to that and we will run a buddy system course.

Hell yes it is cold, lol. I can't wait to sleep in my tent with my crawler to keep the memory foams warm for the morning. Actually, I might have to do that, lol. SPeaking of tent, I am planning on coming up on Saturday morning. Will I be able to locate a place to set up without issue?

Since I am new to cold crawling, should I be thinking about removing the memory foams? I am taking the wheels apart for weight additions anyway. Might as well ask.

Also, I know I have read the location before, but where exactly is it - the new one I mean. Anyone have an address I can Mapquest to please?

Thanks all - can't wait to freeze my ass off!
