PARCCA will cover the PA events if you guys want us to I know of several excellent places that are near major highways/hotels/food etc... Let me know if you need any info, i'll be glad to help. Could we do a North vs. South style comp???? just an idea since it would be a haul for those coming from Florida to NY or visa-versa -Matt |

Here we go. 8O The bonus gates should have a significantly higher degree of difficulty. I don't think anyone attempting a bonus gate and not completing should be penalized. Since it will have a greater degree of difficulty it may not be possible to make it through the gate on 4 wheels. Case in point. Where kenny and I run we try to pick extreme areas to run in. My clod is 2 inches wider than his TXT. If it is a narrow area usually his txt will go rite between the rocks where as my clod has to be run up the wall so to speak to make it through the same area. If there was a gate there he would make it through and not be penalized where I would have. The the bonus gates will be hard enough I think. There should be a 10 minute time limit per course. If a repair has to be made it must be made within that 10 minute period. I think that the loss of time making a repair would be penalty enough. Reverse should be limited to 1 truck length Tire size rule and other vehicle restrictions kinda goes out the window when we are stating run what ya brung. Now the next person has 2 sets of ideas to rip apart |

4xadict looks like an awsome spot. Wherever you think would be best in your area. Krod_clod If you could do that for me that would be great. Its a long ways from bama up to your neck of the woods but if I need to make the trip I will. More people are starting to step up and I greatly appreciate it. I'm going to start bugging the major companies again the first of the week, Traxxas sounded off first hopefully I can get 4 or 5 more to pitch in also. |

gladly. I'll get the locals together and see what ideas we can come up with. i think hobbytown would be a great supporter (they are everywhere) as well as Steel-City hobbies in WV and PA. They seem to always be up for new stuff . I'll get in touch with Dave over at RCDRIVER magazine to see if he can get us a spot in the mag as well. any other ideas? |

That's why the bonus gate is optional But yeah your right, in the case of a tie it might give one person an advantage due to how there truck is set-up and not neccesarily there driving skill. The 10 minute time limmit is iffy though, the reason I mention it is that on the corses we ran last time one was very difficult, some trucks took quite a bit of time to get through so there would more then likely have been a couple of DNF's. But on the other we were able to run it at a pretty reasonable rate so I guess what I'm sugesting is set a time limmit based on the corse, not just a 10 minute no mater where when or what time limmit Reverse penalties are a pain in the ass to judge |

why dont you use the time as a tie-breaker?? fastest one through the course with a tie score will win the tie. set a max time of like 15 min and then use time to break ties???

Sorry to be so late to get in on this, but I should be able to make several of the events. I have several areas around me I have been running. I could most likely make the events around WV. Keep up the good work. Martin |

To make it easier on the score keeper I say you time one section that is defined as the "Tiebreaker section" Also some section(s) could be set up as a time trail section(s) just to mix up the formats a little. |

I wanna come play. :( Sounds very cool. I'll bet I could talk my wife into taking a "family" trip to at least one event. Seriously, once the dates and places get finalized I would like to look into attending. |
