Default Nor-Cal - Folsom Lake Comp, 10/08/05

we should hold a comp in the sacramento area someday. there is a lake called folsom lake and it has so many awesome crawl spots it's silly. here's a few pics of the lake.

I would be down for a comp at folsom lake. We should do it early this winter so it's not so hot during the day.

I'll go for a Folsom Lake comp. If you timed it right there is enough camping there to make a weekend out of it.

it should start to cool down about the beginning of october. maybe we could get a comp set up in the middle of october, or somewhere around that time. in the next couple weeks i'll see if i can get my dad or brother to take me so i can get some pictures myself of better crawl areas.

It really depends on how many rigs are in each class.

I will bring all my crawlers. We can probably set up some rules for classes and stuff when we get there. Unless there is some set in stone rules allready.

I'll have to buy a new body, I only have the cab left, no hood/front fenders, and no part of the bed.

i think the rcc rules would be fine. my only complaint is my tlt wont be able to go against other tlts  . but that's ok to me. as long as i get to compete i'll be happy.

I say either the 8th-9th, or the 15th-16th.

first of all, do we want it to be on a saturday or sunday, or both? i'll most like be able to make a saturday, and if the comp starts like at 1 or 1:30 on a sunday i'll be able to make that.

Just one day might be the easiest on people that have to drive a ways to get there. If it's two days, those people either have to camp, motel it, or drive the whole thing both days. Myself, I don't really care, just something to think about.
