Default P.A.R.C. Fall/Winter Series #6 Final at The Junkyard DEC 14th

This is the Last Comp of the Fall/Winter Series Comp #6

Date: Dec 14th
Location: The Junkyard
Start Time: 8:00 am
We will have a 2.2 and Super Class

No fee to run
Anyone is Welcome to Run
This is the Last Comp of the Fall/Winter Series we will be
taking a short break before we start the Spring/Summer Series
This has always been a fun Time. We get a little crazy finding
and using different junk to crawl on.

Who is going to make it to this one?

Looks like we're gonna try a 1.9 Comp class as well. From what I gather, there will be 5 or 6 out there.

If some of you want to run your 1.9 rigs Mike does have some extra
cones to setup a course. We will not have an official class at this
Comp. We will start a 1.9 class in our next series after we talk about
it as a Group. First how much intrest is there for the class. How it will
be setup and run, and when should we run the class. There also has been
talk of a Scale Class. These are all things as a group we need to talk
about before our next Series starts.
NOTE: Under the Az section uder Killa b 1.9 class post I posted the
USRCCA Rule for the new 1.9 Comp Class. Everyone should look them over
to see if they are the Rules P.A.R.C. wants to use for the Class.

well im up for running the 1.9 class and i should have cones to get three courses set up so if there is enough people to run and be competative and set up the courses and judge for everybody as long as i can get my 2.2 in and run that so lets hear what you guys want to do. i want to use the usrcca rules and if its a scaler we will run it in a open class and so the wheel base will work cause i know that the wheel base matters on the body that is used so we can run scalers with the 1.9 class let me know if that works and i will get it all set up.

let me know if i made sense of this 1.9 class and i wil see you all there

Thanks to Rick for posting those rules. I saw them there and also in the winter edition of RC Crawler magazine. That's a lot of what spurred me into delaying the new 2.2 build and blow the money on the Losi Mini.

As far as rules for a 1.9 mini crawler class, we've traditionally used national rules in all other classes, so there's no reason we'd not use them here. Since it's a first outing for these trucks and it's not official or formal, I can see that we'd not be too strict on truck specs this time; save that for the real series next year. But normal course rules would apply to driving.

I won't address scalers because I'm not into that "thang", it ain't how I roll, if ya know what I mean.

The rest we'll certainly sort out with discussions about next season.

Tony called me tonight. Tony may stop by the junk yard on the
14th if he is in town. I'm not sure what kind of turnout we will
have for this one. We had 28 2.2's at Comp #5. Tony said it
should be ok to run the comp at the junk yard. We need to
park on the blacktop parking lot. The police will give us crap
if we park on the dirt. This spot is limited on areas to climb.
I'm not sure how much junk is left there. So we will have to
see Sunday on how many courses can be built there.

That would be a good idea for some pics. If there is not enough room I also would move to relocate the last comp. We only have about two weeks until we comp, so lets make a change now if we are going to move it to another local.

Also consider if we are going to have another cookout/prize party after the last comp again this year. The junkyard ain't really a good spot for such festivities, while new Paps is....

I never been here before but it looks like there is not enough spots for all of courses. Do not get me wrong looks can be deceiving. If we do chose to move it I am up for new papago, maybe falcon hills.

falcon hill or paps would be cool.the junk yard doesnt have enough room if we are running 1.9 unless we just use the 2.2 courses.

p.s. falcon hill is still so virgin it would be nice!
