The next VARCOR series event will be Sunday, December 14th, 2008 in Richmond, VA at Pony Pasture.

Looks like a good turn out this weekend. I know there are a few guys that still haven't posted up so make sure you do so before Friday night or you could be going first in one of the groups come Sunday. Looking forward to seeing everyone and checking out some of you guy's latest rigs.

Questions about Pony Pasture:

-Hows the parking?
-Is this like Belles Island, park 1/4 mile away then hike 6 flights of stairs?

Just trying to plan what we need to bring as far as backpacks ect or if we'll be close enough to vehicles to pack light?

Pony Pasture has a parking lot and there is a little walk, but the trail is nice. There are no stairs! Pony Pasture doesn't have as much area as Belle's Isle, but is far more convenient to get to.

COMP HAS BEEN MOVED TO FOREST HILL PARK
Due to an unusually high James River, Pony Pasture is unavailable to host tomorrows comp event. Bell Isle is also flooded so we can't move it there. Therefore we are officially moving the comp to Forest Hill Park. The creek will be higher than usual but we will be able to set up three courses, somewhere.

The map shows 34th street from Semmes to the location, that is wrong, you wlll have to turn on 33rd to get there.
