|  801RCC '09 Point Series Comp Event #1 "Frigid Funk" 801RCC '09 Point Series Comp Event #1 "Frigid Funk" Part 1 of the 801RCC '09 Point Series The Point Series is kickin off so make sue to be at the top of your game. 801RCC is loaded with great drivers and there are a bunch of guys that could take it this year. -When- Jan 10th '09 -1/10/09- 9-9:30 Course setup 9:45 group pics and drivers meeting 10:00 Competition starts -Where- NAME: Black Rock LOCATION: just west of the SL marina TERRAIN: small to large jagged boulders, sand TRACTION: very low to extremely high Black Rock is just west of the marina @ the great salt lake. Take the Saltair exit head west on the frontage road north of the freeway. Follow it about a mile take the dirt road on the left and you cant miss. Oh man!! I'm trying to get my new rig "FallOut" done before the comp. I'm real close just a day or two away (I think  ) My 1.9 is dialed in so I'm all good there.

Everyone bring your snowblowers I have 20'' of snow and can only imagine how much is at the rock... Does anyone know how much is out there??? |

I think we'll be in good shape for tomorrow. The sun should melt the little bit of snow we got last night. My rig is up and running (not quite finished but drivable) See ya suckers. |

Well I was beat after scoring all day. I didn't get home till after midnight. Thanks to everyone. The High Pines crew for helping keep our crawl spots clean and garbage free. Huge thanks to the Judges, everyone of you has judged a number of times, and I just want to thank you for the help. I want to thank chewy for helping me set up the 1.9 courses along with DeanO, Nic, and Chewy for helping score the 1.9's. Thanks a ton guys. WOOO HOOO thanks guys  And now in my best NASCAR voice: Well uh, what can I say???The Panther tire DL customs Berg was really hooked up today...After DeanO's course I thought my day was shot but then everything started working great, the Panthers held to the Rock like me to a beer, hooked up and responded as it should have just good enough to bring home the W...I got to give HUGE thanks to the judges without them we couldnt run and another HUGE thanks to my spotter FatHead Thanks...  ... Thanks 801RCC for im sure I will fawk up the next one  .... Finally |
