Good comp today fellas and I like the new score sheets, but I think in the future we need to have more judges than today to help speed things up a bit. If we are gonna run 1.9, 2.2, and super we should probably have atleast six or even 9 judges and just let guys hop on a new course as soon as they are done with the last instead of staying in groups. The guys who judge can then run at the end. Just my .02. Now Get Ready For Next Weekend Bitches!!! |

Muzzy, I'm with you. That's what our intentions were, but we failed to follow thru. We were talking after the comp and I believe it was Jeff's idea to have at least one (1) judge for every 2.2 course and depending on how many people showed up for 1.9's and Supers, we might be able to get by with just 1 judge per each one of them. Of course 1 judge per course would be best. All the judges would run at the end. And by the way, I had a great day today. My new 2.2 did quite well and I was very pleased with it. To bad I can't say the same thing about my not so Super performance today!!!! Let me just say, "I SUCKED horribly bad in Super's. I haven't found a definition bad enough to describe it!

Results are in!!! Congrats to Mike for the first ever win in 1.9 Minis; to Kolby for giving us all a pounding with three perfect runs in 2.2s; and to Jay for just edging out a great drive by Rob (freonman) in the Supers. Go to www.abovethebeast.com Everything is there. Note: The site you see there will be our new headquarters for comp schedules, scoring, and series points tracking. But don't save it as a bookmark just yet as the address will change this week. I'll let you all know as soon as it's moved to its permanent home. Last edited by blue10; 01-25-2009 at 05:04 PM. |

My day wasn't the best. One of my Goats died today. I had to put him down.:-( I will be running a brushed setup for awhile. I did manage the low score on course one in super. That was the high point of the day for me. It's rough trying to run 6 courses back to back, and trying to get to work by 11:00. I dont think I'll try to pull that one off again. Kolby Great Job Today! Congrats to all the Top finishers Rick- |
