But man, I mean, come on. You guys are gonna make me do it aren't you.

I hear you. Drove my GC2 all last season and thought I had it pretty well dialed but this thing just sticks to the rocks. You know I resisted even the change to MOA( my build took what, 5 months) and searched for just the right chassis. All I can say is you'd better get in touch w/ T1E soon or it could be a long series for you my friend.;)

Default Winner of $25 RPP Gift Certificate

Congratulations to Metal Militia who is the winner of the RPP $25 Gift Certificate. We did a random generator based on the finishing results.

True Random Number Generator
Min: 1
Max: 15
Result:
14

Ironically the first random number was 5, which was me, but I didn't want to do that.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the event and I hope that you all had a good time. The rain held off enough to let us compete and I think the free crawl method went well.

Now, we just need to keep John from creating any more courses, I think he does it on purpose as he's trying to improve his chances by making us all score the same on his course, and not get too far ahead. :-P

Hope our little raffle was ok, I know the prizes weren't extravagant but maybe some of you can use what you got.

And keep an eye out for the next one around August:

Had a great time at the event, Cory and I were guys in yellow (me) and blue (Cory) rain coats.

I managed to drop my AX10 in the water before it had a chance to run: for anyone who was curious it seems fine after drying out, although I don't have time to test it outdoors as I'll be doing some traveling starting tomorrow morning. I'm almost 100% positive the poor old $7 Hextronic BEC was at fault.

I'm updating Cory's FTP permissions as of right now, he took a -ton- of pictures and did a really good job from what I saw... unfortunately while he really captured the day, the day was a dreary one. We'll have to drag him back out again on a sunny day to get some really glamorous shots of people's rigs! A few of those shots might make good wallpapers, I haven't had a chance to take a close look... when I get back I'll paw through what's on the FTP.

Default Picture Requests

The transfer rate is really slow so I think it would be best to upload as requests come in. Please send a PM for requests. You can click the more info link on the right in the Picasa gallery, give me the file name and I'll upload them here:

High Res Pics

Here are the links to Picasa again:

VARCOR Virginia Money Run II (Part 1)
VARCOR Virginia Money Run II (Part 2)

You can click the Full size link near the top right corner of the Gallery page, then right click the image and save as.
