I am not familiar with names with rigs. Can you put up somewhere a name next to the rig they were driving? Those courses look pretty good. -Sam |

My wife, daughter and I came down to watch the competition, I'm pretty impressed. I like the laid-back atmosphere, custom built rigs, and the layout of the courses. I wish I could've stuck around a little longer to watch the trucks run the nastier course that had been set up closer to the water. I'm hoping to start building a truck soon, just need to decide exactly what I want to do. I'm probably going to go with a TLT and stick to the 2.2 class. Until then, I was thinking of picking up the 1/6th scale Nylint Jeep, but it didn't look like anyone had one. Has anyone brought one out yet? |

Well, I just bought one. Can't say that I'd bring it out to a competition, but I'm definately going to play around down at High Rocks with it. So far, I'm very impressed with it's ability but there's no doubt that it's of toy quality. I just wanted to get my hands on a crawler to play around with while I'm in the process of putting together a "hobby grade" 2.2 rig.

Bring it out!! I've never seen a 1:6 one in person, not sure how many others have either... The 1:6 Nylints sound like they can go just about anywhere. When we have another get together(this weekend?), you should come out and show it off... We'd like to see it! For the ORCRC hangout/info/planning, GO HERE. | |
