hey guys, i'm from phoenix and looking for some crawling action closer to home. utah and colorado are too far and my car has been giving me problems lately so i don't want to travel so far from home. So anybody put on crawling sessions or comps in the lower california area?

i am in the oc as well and i live in aliso viejo there is a regional park located in irvine california that has a dry river bed that would be sweet to crawl at but i dont know if they will let us because on thier website the rules are misleading they dont mention rc cars but then fires? are motors cause sparks but we all know that it wont cause a fire unless we intentionaly try to here are the rules what do u make of it All fires are prohibited. Fire prevention must be the first concern of every visitor. Swimming or wading in creek or lake is prohibited. (No watercraft allowed) A speed limit of 10 MPH enforced at all times. Fires are permitted only in fireplaces and approved camp stoves. Fire prevention must be the first concern of every visitor. Roller-skating is permitted in designated areas only. The park depends on visitors to protect all wildlife, vegetation, features, and improvements. Consumption of intoxicants prohibited. Dogs must be restrained by a leash at all times (6 foot maximum) Vehicle operations restricted to designated roads. Possession or use of firearms or weapons is prohibited. |

Best place to go would be out towards San Bernardino, Redlands, Colton, Riverside areas. Lots of rocky areas out there. Specifically...try Mentone. It's right at the base of the mountains and there are tons of areas that you could get into. | |
