I think supers and mini's might have been the wrong classes. 2.2's and another class would probably work better I talked with Turtle today and I've got a plan for tomorrow. while 1.9's are running I'll set up a 2.2 course and open it for judging. this course will stay up untill everyone has gone through. If it works well, maybe we'll expand it at the next comp. Let me know what you think of the idea. I'm not trying to hurry people, just trying to eliminate the down time between runs

This sounds cool to me. I don't have a 1.9, yet, so I'll be ready to get on the course.

I HATE feeling rushed, thankfully I don't have a pee wee crawler. I feel sorry for you guys that run all 3, I think 2 classes at a time will really take some fun out of it. People just need to be ready to run and not fart around, guy in front of you is running get ready, line up, even turn your truck on if your on DSM. Even saving the 30 seconds it takes to turn your truck on, multiply that by 50+ guys and you get my point. Minimize down time and we'll be fine.

This is about fun for me, and if we try to rush it or get too crazy about rules I don't think it'll be as fun. I say we not rush and try to keep it fun, not get too crazy about making it structured. If I wanted that I'd go racing.

Hey Skid/Ty/Gary, how was the weather on the way up near the Daniels Park area? Snowed a little more down here, but as usual Colorado weather permits, it is shinning and not too cold.

It snowed a little bit up here, but I'm confident we will be on for tomorrow. Everything cleared out pretty good. JC

I think we should run all three classes at the same time, and we should draw running orders, then if you happen to be up in 2 classes at once, tough shit you have to take a 50 in one of the classes. Or maybe we could have 1 judge for every set of gates, we all get in line and when the person in front of you goes through one gate then you start. |

So where exactly is the spot, maping it out I see where castle pines pkwy meets old happy canyon road but can't see where to go from there. The sat image doesn't really show any "roads" into the area.

I think the only thing that should change is going back to pulling numbers for running order. It just seemed to keep the flow moving better and kept the presure on witch made it more fun. Also I think it would be cool to computer generate the running order the night before the comp. JMO Last edited by Sparky J; 03-07-2009 at 09:04 PM.
