awesome comp as usual! I had a blast! after running all the courses I was still able to run 3 packs through my comp rig and one throught my scaler! and had a chance to mess around and try different tires and weight combos! too bad I botched one course one course and pretty much gave up after that! but still had a blast! |

Awesome Comp!!! I had a great time. It wasn't too busy in the morning and for a min there I thought we'd be finished by 2, But everyone made it out, just arrived a bit late. The weather was great. Not too cold and not too hot. The courses were sweet challenging yet very doable. The competition was real tight and I heard whispers throughout the day about some of the top divers and who people thought were going to take home the coveted 801RCC Rock Trophies Early on in the day it was looking like Snowman had it wrapped up, with 4 flawless runs and a single reverse on course 2. With DirkaDirk right on his heels, only a few reverses separating them (great driving Dirk). Then J-rad came though with 4 flawless runs and beating Snowmans score on course 2. Giving J-rad an edge going into his final course. But then his pack dumped on him half way though his last course. The repair bumped him into the 3rd spot. Late in the day NazT was looking real good, and was matching Snowman run for run. But had his rig shut down half way though course 4. The repair knocking him back to the 4th spot. Tunner pulled off some great driving too finishing in 5th just a few points behind 4th. Great driving guys, I had a blast. Thank you to all the Judges, and for everyone that helped clean up. Huge thanks to everyone that came out to support 801RCC. You guys are what makes 801RCC the best crawling club around. Thanks. I'll try to get scores up later tonight. |

I just want to thank everyone again for coming out and all their support and help with 801RCC. Thanks again. Ok here are the scores. 2.2's 1.9's I updated the Point Series too. But remember that you drop your worst comp. It mixes things up quit a bit if you think about it. Last edited by NaZ-T; 04-20-2009 at 11:11 AM. |
