I took a picture of Every rock between the dam and the boat ramp.... a total of 890 pics. If there's a rock added or out of place at the next comp I will know it!

This may not be the right place for this but oh well.

How about for '06 we keep up with the finishing scores for the entire year and at the last comp for the year we can declare a champion. Since everybody may not be able to come to every comp we could just count a perdetermined number, say we had 6 comps we could just count the top 4 scores for each driver. Just a thought. Then we could see who is the best overall driver, it would help eliminate the luck factor.

You could make it so the overall champion could win a prize or something by letting anyone that wants to be in the running for the championship put in $20 and the winner takes all.

Any opinions?

Hell, where else would you put it?

I like the idea, I've been thinking about a points series for a while but I could never figure out how to make it so that you could miss a few comps and still be competitive but I think you've got it. So what you're saying is take the four best scores from all of the comps attended, average them out, and that dictates how you do in the final standings? Sweeeeeeeeeet.....

The only thing I don't like is the money factor, when you start charging entry fee's people get bitter over little things very fast and things become very competitive. I'd rather not see rock crawling turned into the next on road racing.

I'd love to see it happen either way, most of the West Coast groups are already doing a points series in one form or another, so I see no reason for us not too.

Yea I know some people wouldn't like the money part, that why it would be optional. You wouldn't have to pay to come compete that part would be normal like it is now; but if you wanting to be in the running for the championship and prize, that when you could put $20 in the pot. I know I spend alot of money on these little trucks, so $20 (for the whole year) wouldn't be that bad for the chance to win $200 (asuming they were 10 people) or a cool prize would be worth it. But I agree with you people start b*tching when you start asking for money.

yeah we ( T.S.C crew) have been talking about it also. As our next GTG, we will be trying to get the schedule written in stone as to what is going on.. but we will hold a point series and be giving out prizes to possibly the top 3 for that year
