This may not be the right place for this but oh well. How about for '06 we keep up with the finishing scores for the entire year and at the last comp for the year we can declare a champion. Since everybody may not be able to come to every comp we could just count a perdetermined number, say we had 6 comps we could just count the top 4 scores for each driver. Just a thought. Then we could see who is the best overall driver, it would help eliminate the luck factor. You could make it so the overall champion could win a prize or something by letting anyone that wants to be in the running for the championship put in $20 and the winner takes all. Any opinions? |

So what you're saying is take the four best scores from all of the comps attended, average them out, and that dictates how you do in the final standings? Sweeeeeeeeeet..... The only thing I don't like is the money factor, when you start charging entry fee's people get bitter over little things very fast and things become very competitive. I'd rather not see rock crawling turned into the next on road racing. I'd love to see it happen either way, most of the West Coast groups are already doing a points series in one form or another, so I see no reason for us not too. | |
