Which club is host this event or is this more of a GTG amoung clubs? I assume we will be following USRCCA rules and running the free crawl format like most events? If this is more of a GTG amoung clubs who would judging an building the courses? Will there be an entry fee to attend the event and how many course will be ran? I was talking to a buddy of mine and he said a waiver was need to crawl at the Oakes, do I need one? If so how do I get it? Sorry for all the questions, just wanted to know what I was getting into before siging up (still a rookie) |

Not sure what you want to call this. It all started with the CKYC boys asking about having a comp at Oakes. We figured out a date that was best for us and the CKYC boys and posted it up. If anyone would like to build courses please speak up. I have no problem building all the courses, if needed. I would like to see each group build a course. USRCCA rules will be used, as well as the free crawl. I will ask for volenteers to help with judging and spotting. No entry fee. I was thinking 3 courses and a top 5 finals, for both 2.2 and 1.9 classes. As Jeremy pointed out this is in no way a TSC event or the next BattleGrounds. More of a large or small (depending one attendance) Comp style GTG.

From what I have heard through the gossip grapevine, there will not be a BG09. If this event on the 3rd goes well there may be a large event held at Oakes park, in 09. But as of right now it will not be in association with any club.

Sounds like fun guys. Will there be any prizes for the winners or top guys. We will be making the trip from Buffalo Ny area. I wouldn't mind an entry fee to have a shot at some hardware or prizes.... Thanks
