Default Nor-Cal 2005 - Rock Crawling Competition, Event #2

Directions: http://www.nor-calrcrc.com/modules.p...rtid=17&page=1

Weather: The forcast calls for scattered showers with a high of 69°F, precip 30%
weather forcast

This will be a "bring what you have" event and vehicles will be run on the same courses using RCCrawler.com established rules. Any modifications to the rules will be agreed upon prior to the start of the event. You are limited to running 1 vehicle per class which may be limited further if there are too many entrants. Each vehicle will run in their own class running for their class points. Also, you will be running up against every other class for an over all points race. So this is the chance for the limited class crawlers to show that they can keep up with unlimited class type rigs. So in the end, you will see a ranking of how you did in your class and overall amongst all competitors.

I will do my best to make it. I am in the building mode for a record machine, so we will have to see.

probably won't be able to make it. I sent off my rear driveshaft w/ yoke to RCAlloys to get a custom part machined and I probably won't have it back in time, no spares either.

unless I can borrow a Pede yoke...?

I can lend you one actually. I have a couple steelies that I can bring. You did well in the last comp and it would suck for you to drop out on the point series race because of a yoke.

A guy that works at a hobby store is asking to borrow a Pede yoke?

I have extra's also since I don't use the Pede yokes/shafts anymore.

Yeah that made me laugh to. What kind of hobby store is this? Is it a "knitting yarns of the world" hobby store?

Cool part is, we have the parts so you will be able to make it out. However, there will be a points "commission" for borrowing parts. You will owe 10% of your points to us for any parts borrowed. If you listen to "I am God's gift to R/C Crawling" Badger, then he won't need the points, so I will take the points if he lends you the parts. Sounds fair?

Since when did we get so sophisticated that we speak in third person?

Sam says, "See you there"

I usually have plenty of points to spare, maybe we can have an auction at the comps also.

Hahaha... that's cool. Actually, we were impressed with your smooth driving skills at the competition. We thought that this is another perk of working at a hobby store. You get to practice while working. Now THAT, you can't beat.

Sounds like we need to attach Rich's R/C controller to his computer.

I can't leave well enough alone with my TLT, I just bought something new for it that should improve performance even more. I should have it delivered in 2 days and installed for this weekends comp.

I guessing it's because I might need to back up all this lip smacking I have been doing.

well if it's the same size as the ones you carry it'll fit on an RC no problem.
