Well it was one expensive day for me after tearing up a servo smoking two HH motors and breaking two TTR CVDS and a wheel on my super. I would not have wanted to spend it any other way. I had a blast and I will be up and running for the next one. (in two weeks?) A special thanks to 666 and Skid plate for helping me get my motors switched over. Sorry 666 for burning your table:-( I can replace it if needed. I think it is time for some BERGS |

Can't believe you broke two TTR CVDS, thought those were practically indestructible. I should have my super re-worked by next comp... Going an inch longer and stick radio with dual mamba max. You will love the Bergs. |

[QUOTE=cato;1763811]Yeah really As if my driving didn't suck already... here I go changing things. I want dig, 4wheel steering and more control of clod stall. So, I'm thinking a dx6i is the way to go. |

I had a great time even though i came in last with 106. I'm hoping to do beater next time. I'm surprised my rig survived a 20 foot leap with just a broken link. thanks to Joe he had one. my HB rovers are ordered should have them this week. time for some practice this crawling thing beats the heck out of intro enyday.

| Don't get me wrong some can use them just fine, Joe is a prime example, I'm just not one of 'em. I'm still waiting for an affordable 4channel pistol before my super will have dig.

+1 I tried it at the Daniels park comp and sold the 6i shortly after. I see the advantages of the stick radios, but I got to many years of racing, bashing and now crawling with a pistol radio that my thumbs just can do what my brain thinks. | |

| I hear you, I thought about going with the 4PK, but 500 bucks is hard for me to swallow for a radio... And even harder for the wife. Since my driving needs improved, I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the comments guys |

in order to get used to the stick radio i would suggest flying thats how i got used to it. if i fly a lot in the summer i go back to the pistol and my brain goes bananas. it hard when you get used to one type of radio to switch. takes practice, it took me hours of it to learn to fly hellicopters. |

Not a great day as far as results go for me but what a fun day. Thanks to you guys for judging, setting up the courses, and putting this event on. It was great to talk to some new people as well as you old guys. Great pics Ed, Rogue, and Skid/Rodney. The GC-2 Miniclod worked well, it was purely driver error on course 3 that killed me. The Reign super needs some suspension tuning I think. After getting rid of my dig I think it revealed that the suspension is too soft on those offcamber uphill climbs. The Reign Menace 1.9 worked quite well also, purely driver error, plus I don't have good luck for those point and pray dropoff jumps, that's why I don't gamble when I'm in Vegas. A big thanks to all my sponsors, they are a big part of what crawling is today and I couldn't do it without them.
