Thanks Pinchy, you are too kind. It was great to finally meet you Utah boys and crawl. I can't wait til Kaetwo has the time to get the pics, but I can completely understand him not doing it right away.

I gotta tell ya, your UTRCRC V2 chassis is just downright pimp, andworks soo well. But like I said, I am too stubborn and hard headed to give in to the clod way, even though a V2 chassis comp buggy would be great!

Out of curiousity, what made BustedCrawler's TXT the best performing TXT (that you've seen)?

Here are the pics I took during follow the leader after the comp. Like I said, I was judging pretty much the whole time.
Sorry, we forgot to take the group shot at the start of the comp so Fishy and Rock were not in it.

I'm pretty sure you guys are sick of pics of The SuperDuke but oh well, and no poser pics .

Well, Fishmaxx you are too kind . Thanks. I dunno, I like to think I pick a line and work the truck, glad to see I am not just smoking the crack

Nice pics Griz! That Super Duke of yours sure is photogenic! I still can't help but drool everytime I see that truck!

You will need PinchFlat to explain, I don't think the Almost Stock TXT is anything special. Just a TXT with the 10 best with a twist. I think it was Dirk's wheel and tire combo, and the Grizzly Off Road links, and TTR wheel adapter bolts that Grizz was kind enough to lend me. Thanks again guys!

Mine is the Black hacked up Bronco off to the far left, sportin the flames on the hood, and the big Lincoln Electic Motorsports Sticker on the side.

If you want specs just ask.

Well... First off, know one here in Utah with TXTs has them for very long and while they do have them they don't seen to want to listen to anyone (me and Kaetwo) on how they may improve performance and refuse to just try tweaking. They just try one small mod and then when all the clod crawlers out crawl them they give up and sell it for a clod. I would love to see someone here in Utah give a TXT (or any shafty for that matter) a good chance for once. I think good things can and have been done with the shafty crawlers. BC seems to be of that mind-set and is not willing to fall into the hypnotic allure of the clod. He says he is not ready to give up on the TXT and is moding his TXT in the right direction. I have only owned a clod crawler but I would love to get hold of a TXT and give it a try to see where I could take it.

All this being said CLOD CRAWLERS RULE OVER ALL INFERIOR SHAFTY CRAWLERS!!! ALL THE SUBJACENT SHAFTYS QUAKE IN FEAR OF ALL CLOD CRAWLERS AND DREAM IF THE DAY IN WHICH THE MAY RISE UP OUT OF THERE INFERORITY AND BECOME EQUIL TO THE ALL POWERFULL DEITY RC CRAWLER, THE CLOD!!! AH HAHAHAHA ALL SHAFTYS MUST BOW-DOWN TO THIER GODS THE CLOD CRAWLERS!!!

If someone wants to donate a TXT to UTRCRC we would be happy to mod it and do the best we can to make it a worthy crawler.

Yes, I like the IMEX Swamp Dawgs better than the LST's. 8O This was the first time I had tried the Swamp Dawgs.

I have found that the LST's have two weaknesses:
They have mucho trouble holding a sidehill on smooth river rock.
When climbing steep stuff the soft/small lugs seem to flex and lose traction.

There are two obstacles that have given me trouble at Dirk's. The river rock climb and the left side of the 1st waterfall. I have never cleanly made either of these obstacles with the LST's but the IMEX's made them look easy.

The IMEX's grabbed the river rock and never let go, barking with every move. It was a beautiful thing, I was in total control. The first waterfall is a concrete wall, the IMEX's big lugs grabbed like Spiderman and easily pushed the rig up, the LST's could never get me up.

Now dont get me wrong, the LST's are a great tire and the extra height is a huge advantage at times. BUT, the IMEX Jumbo Swamp Dawgs worked everywhere the LST's did, and where the LST's didnt. If I had run the IMEX's in Utah last time I would have finished in the top 3 instead of 5th.

I was running Savage tire foams in them at the last Utah comp and this last weekend. During the Filmability shoot at Dirk's I tried them with the LST foams and with no foams.

BITCHES!!!!!!!!

Are you ready for this!?! I wanted to put my new Kongs to the test…..so I went out and ran my entire rock course today. The exact same one we ran at Crawlstock. I wanted to see how much better I could drive it without the pressure of a competition and my new tires. The winner, Pinchflat, totaled about 16 points to win the Crawlstock comp(well done Pinchy). I came up short with about 34 points. I blamed some of my poor performance during the second day on my Kong Tires….and bad driving.
With my new, lower profile Kongs, I tallied 8 points!!!!! 8 friggin points on the whole course, today!!!! Just wait ‘til the next comp. Bitches!!!!!!! You clods are in trouble!!!
PS. This is no bullshit and I kept score very accurately and was tough on myself…..just like The Scoring Nazi…..Chris “Grizzly”, kept score.

Guess it's too little too late!

I'm really impressed with the Kongs now. More than ever.

Sounds like you found the cure for what I felt was the Kongs weakness. Nice werk.

8 points is impressive to say the least. BUT, ya gotta do it in a comp. I get all tense and my hands shake during comps so I know. Give plenty of notice before the next comp, I gotta get kongs on a clod then......

BTW, The Judge says, "Yer ballot dont count!"
