Thanks to Patrick, Ty, and Skid for setting everything up. I really liked that location (besides being really far away, but worth the drive) Thanks to the judges, course designers and everyone else involved. Congrats to the top 5's. I'll get pics up tonight or tomorrow night of the 1.9 and 2.2 finals I had a blast with the mini-super and it only seems to be getting more dialed everytime I drive it. I was impressed it made it up that breakover on the finals course so easily. See ya at the next one!! Quote:

Thanks everyone for putting this one on, the judges, and everyone for showing up. I had a great time, it was very fun and relaxing to only run one class. I had forgotten what that was like. Thanks Todd for the ride and breakfast, I'll make it up to you. Thanks to Sparky J for helping me stay focused to get those negative scores, thanks buddy. Thanks to the drunk meth-head hillbilly for the great laugh, "fawking tree huggers". The Team RCC, Team HolmesHobbies, Team Reign R/C super was working good and it felt great to put in a good day and get 2nd place. I put in stiffer rear springs because last comp I was having trouble with the front end lifting and the new springs really helped. I think running only one class helped me to be more relaxed to and that helped me drive better. A big thanks to all my sponsors, they are a big part of what crawling is today and I couldn't do it without their support. Congrats to all the drivers. Last edited by Grizzly4x4; 06-01-2009 at 04:56 PM. |

Here are the series totals. These don't mean much as far as the final scores since we will be dropping an event.

Here are the meat and potatoes. The Series scores with a low score drop. In the Super class Sparky has 1st all wrapped up boys but you can see that 2nd place is up for grabs. My 2nd place finish on Sunday bumps me into 4th for the series past rubba, but only 5 points separates 2nd place from 5th so anything could happen at the next event. Exciting stuff!!! In the 2.2 class, tmy continues his ways of domination. rubba drives his way from 4th to 2nd, taking over Sparky's spot. Sparky falls from 2nd to 4th while Slowrockr falls from 3rd to 8th. Rathgar continues to move as he goes from 5th to 3rd, followed by both Turtle and Kris who both move up into the top 10, and Tim who follows Dan and settles into 5th. In 1.9, rubba jumps into 1st place, knocking Sparky down to 2nd. Duffy's day shoots him into 3rd place, knocking OCD and THnCS into 4th and 5th place. Not running drops me from 5th to 7th. |

Here is the race for the overall. Sparky J has the lead but rubbaneck is still threatening. |
