Remember, for those of you that don't have trucks, we do allow more than one driver per vehicle. So if you have a buddy or someone at the comp willing to let you drive you can compete.

Default Thanks dad!

I am sure glad that Rick is letting me use his trucks otherwise I would have no trucks at all. I will be driving his stick in the unlimited class and his drivers class truck in the spec class.

Kevins directrions are the fastest way to get to there. 17 all the way to central, go south on central and stay on central all the way to the mountain.

like grover said, the best thing to do is print the directions here:

http://www.thecrawlerstore.com/Events.html

The Summit: Take Central Avenue south into South Mountain. The road will veer right (West). Follow the road to the gate house. Continue straight, you will pass another gate house, continue straight and follow the signs for the summit. You will continue on level roads for a couple miles until you turn to head up to the summit. Continue up the side of the mountain. As you get to the top of the mountain, look for a sign at a fork in the road. You will follow the arrow to "Dobbins Lookout", which is a left at the fork. Follow this road to the end. The competition will take place around the old lookout structure. It takes approximately 15 minutes to get to the top once you have entered the park at the Central Avenue entrance.
.
.
.
.
.
If you are coming from the east on 17 (mesa, or south from tucson), you would make a left on central to head south. If you are coming from the North or West, you would make a right on central to head south.

Thank you to everyone that attended todays event and to those that helped with scoring, etc. Congrats to the podium placers in each class.

Well, what a day. Much more stage time than ever before - 4 long stages. TONS of challenging obstacles. It was allot of fun.

Default Pics from the Top

What a great day for crawling!!! A little chilly and windy at the start but it was perfect after that.

The 2.2 class was short a few drivers today. Mitch and Chris had to work the Jet Ralley. The courses however were the " 5th man". All three had at least one uber tough gate each!!

As for the BIG trucks.... fuhgedaboudit, the courses were CRAZY!!!! but FUN.

Here's some pics of the 2.2s

Start your engines

Dan's headed for fun

Better luck next time

Where to go Don??

Default Some BIG trucks

I was running all over the place during the Unlimited class and missed some great photo opps. The courses made you drive backwards, on your side, and sideways!!

Here's what I mean...

Up and over

We all helped Tony through this gate

Ron making it look easy

Never say dead

Sorry I missed everyone else. My dad took some more pics and I'll post them tomarrow.

Thanks again Kevin for another GREAT comp!!

Great pics Mike.

FYI, the scores look a little different then what was announced at the comp. I always double check the scores at home and found a mistake in your score Mike (AZvader).

Just a reminder guys, we will be having another comp on December 4th. This will be a more laid back event. Time for testing or whatever you want. We will be doing:

- Rock Racing Comp
- Spec/Drivers Class Comp
- Nylint Comp
- Get together
- Testing/Etc.
