When: The fourth Saturday in the month of June.

Where: Lake Winona, AR

Time: Meet at 10:00. Start comp at 10:30.

hwy 10 to hwy 9 jctn. left
onto hwy 9.
7ml take right on winona drive.
at the y stay right.
road turns to gravel,follow
till road splits,stay on the bottom road.
your there. big spillway!!

How far are is parking from the comp spot?

Is there a visitor center close like the last comp? (bathrooms/drink machine/etc)

Nothing. No center, no formal restrooms. Just the trees. It's bring your own lunch and beverages day.

Parking is right there. This is just an old redneck swimming hole at the bottom of the spillway.

ok cool. I was wondering because I saw in one of Ruby-Red's posts somewhere about this being a state park. I got a little too excited and thought this one was gonna be like #3 since it was at a visitor's center. Sometimes it gets a little out of hand, my excitement. o.O :shock: :-P

it is a state park.
no bathrooms unless theyve updated it.
the park section is on the upper road.
u can walk across the bridge to a couple of big pavillions.

Greg.... what are you doing about the Losi? I see that some of them seem to be doing ok with the endpoints adjusted correctly.

I am out on this one. I have to be in Fort Smith on Sunday the 28. No worries though, the guys at the NWARC 27th comp will kick my butt for ya'll. Have a good one.

Mine will be here Monday...gonna go completely through it. Got some Gearjelly for the axles. Gonna break-in the axles on the drill as recommended. Already got 3 replacement CV shafts for Losi yesterday. Going to have spares, Rich is also supposed to be sending me a couple as well. I don't want to be down without parts. We'll see how it turns out.

If am off work I will be there.

Who said it was the last comp of the season? This is just the last comp to qualify for Nat's. We keep going until Oct or Nov.

Was thinking about taking the next month off and having a scaler GTG at the new location we'll be comping at this month. It's perfect for scalers too.
