The TGRC/W.E.Rock Grand Nationals are coming up!

Can i participate in this. Like do i have to qualify or something???

Just like the flyer says " anyone can participate "

Remember guys this is a free comp , no entry fee's.

$250 to the winner

You will get a raffle ticket when you tech in and could win some cool door prizes too "thumbsup"

Come out to Farmington NM and enjoy the 1:1 Rock Crawlers and get in a free comp with your 1:10 crawler as well. This is goin to be held at he awesome Brown Springs location in the Glade Run Recreation Area.
Our average temp this time of year is about 72 deg F , its real nice and cool.

I thought you had to place top three to get into this and the winner gets $1000.00 right ?

To qualify for the $1000 , for the series , you had to have attended at least two of the other events. Anyone can participate in the finals comp for the day money. Correct me if I'm wrong John "thumbsup"

We would love to have you here for this "thumbsup"

There will be 2 different Prize Checks awarded:

The first check will be for $1000.
That will go to the highest score out of the 15 guys who qualified at 1 of the other 4 events.

The second check will be for $250 and that will go to the lowest score of the day, any one can win that check.

So if one of the 15 gets the best score of the day, then he could win both checks.

Does this all make since???

All that means is I am still going to nm, we have three of us going. See you all there!!!!!!!!!

Is this rock super grippy like granite?

Not "super" grippy , a little like slickrock. Some of it has some great traction , other parts a little sandy.

Well I look forward to crawling there, it looks like a great spot. Are there hotels close and witch ones are the better ones to stay at? I dont like staying in the crappy hotels, perfer something a little nicer!

There are some real nice ones here , about any chain you can think of "thumbsup"

3 1/2 weeks to go , who's coming ?

I visited with the owner of the LHS today and decided on having a BBQ after the comp @ the store. He is going to chip in a cool prize for the best score on 1 course on " The Wall ". We'll set up one course of about 20 gates.
That will give everyone a chance to play on our new toy "thumbsup"

I talked with John , here is the low down on the schedule.

Start time 9:30 am
You can show up and tech at any time , but you must be done with all 4 courses by 5 pm.
