Well with the Adventures the theme changes every 2-3 months.

This Adventure in the month of Oct. has a specific theme (see page one). Unimogs are more than welcome and will fit most all Adventure themes. For guys looking for a scale rig to fit the bill for all Adventures...That won't be possible. For example the theme for our Nov., Dec., Jan. Adventure is "All-American". The rules require that a builder use a body that represents an American made vehicle, so the Unimog would not work for this. However the next Adventure in Feb., Mar., May will have a different theme based in the club ideas and so forth.

So long story short, the theme for an Adventure will change from one Adventure to another and each Adventure has 2-3 Events or comps.

I hope that helps.

I would like to attend this event but now I don't know if it's a comp, an event, or an adventure, or an Adventure, or where to meet, or what I should drive................

I have no idea if it will be financially possible for me to make this event but I will try. Pepe should fit the rules just fine for this one once I buy the comp winning tires.
What tires are you running Zach, the National Champ?

Hope I can see you there bitches.

It would make my year if you made it Grizz It's a scale comp with a theme to keep rigs similar in ability and style! Although the theme has been tuned down a bit for this one.

I'm probably going to be running RC4WD FlashPoint tires, just so you know

You know... There will not be another 2.2 National Champion. So Zach is like the last dragon or something.

Dirt Grabber, Mud Thrasher, Mud Plugger, Out Cropper, Prowler, Rock Creeper, Trail Buster, Tomahawk, and Chisels are all under 4.25".

I don't think the Flashpoint is the look I want for Pepe, plus it's under 4.25" short.

The only 4.25" tires are Rock stompers, Rock crushers, and Flatirons. We all know how well the stompers and crushers work (I wish they would make them from the new compound) and the Flatirons do not have the look I want on Pepe.

I don't think Pepe will have the tires to come to this event. :-(

The Flash Points and Trail Busters are both barely a hair shorter than the Flatirons and fall within the rules.

I've been running some Trail Busters quite a bit and love them.

Agreed, RC4WD needs to make the Crushers and Stompers in the new compound.

Well Griz, I looked up pictures of Pepe and I can see where you are struggling. I don't think the Flash Points would look bad though.

Yeah, Pepe's tires scale out to 53" tall so they need to be aggressive to have the right look and with the fenders cut the way they are a smaller tire might not look right at all.
I'll have to think on it.

By golly, what is this "patience" you speak of and can I get some right away?

That would be great!

I'd buy Rock Stompers in the X3 compound in a heartbeat. The new 1.9 Rox Lox work awesome.

So would sanding down the tread be considered legal? It's not really modifying the tires, just wearing them down basically.
If I show up with sanded down Rock Stompers would that be illegial?

What if I put them on my brushless Slash to wear them down?
